Dunmore East

The first lifeboat station was established at Dunmore East in 1884. A new lifeboat house and slipway were built and used up until the station closed in 1919. In 1925 the station reopened. A motor lifeboat was moored in the harbour. A new lifeboat station building opened in 2001.
