Kilrush
An inshore lifeboat station was established at Kilrush in 1996 to provide additional cover on the west coast of Ireland.
The new ILB station house was built at Cappagh on the north side of the Shannon Estuary. The new boathouse provides accommodation for the Atlantic 75 ILB and launching tractor, modern crew facilities, fuel store and souvenir shop.
