Crosshaven
Prior to the opening of the new station house, Crosshaven RNLI had worked for over two years from the Royal Cork Yacht Club. The Yacht Club generously provided facilities to allow the RNLI set up a station and also provided a marina berth for the lifeboat. The boat was kept afloat on the main Club marina, and a small 7'x7' container was used for crew gear. A 20' portakabin was used as the main operations centre. Photo : Barry Moule
