About Us

Tribute to Ireland's Sea Rescue Heroes
The website irishlifeboats.com was launched in 2009 as a heartfelt tribute to the courageous volunteer crews of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the Irish Coast Guard (IRCG), and the Community Rescue Boats Ireland (CRBI). These dedicated individuals face some of the most challenging sea conditions in Europe to save lives and ensure safety on the waters.

Honoring the Heroes
Irish Lifeboats serves not only as a tribute but also as an educational resource, highlighting the tireless work and bravery of these organizations. By sharing stories, providing updates, and fostering a greater understanding of the challenges faced by sea rescue crews, the website aims to inspire and engage the public in supporting these vital services.
