About Us
The website www.irishlifeboats.com was started 10 years ago as a tribute to the brave volunteer crews of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the Irish Coast Guard (IRCG) and the Community Rescue Boats Ireland (CRBI) who have to negotiate some of the roughest sea conditions around Europe.

Irish Coast Guard IRCG
The Irish Coast Guard is part of the Department of Transport of the Republic of Ireland. It's primary roles include maritime safety and search and rescue.
