Bangor
An inshore lifeboat station opened at Bangor in May 1965. The ILB was kept in a small building located on the sea front. In 1984 a new ILB house was built in the marina.
A new inshore lifeboat station house was built on the site of the 1984 building during 2001. The new house provides improved crew facilities and housing for the larger B class ILB and launching tractor.
