Crosshaven RNLI volunteers quickly arrived at the station and launched their Atlantic 85 class inshore lifeboat.

The inshore lifeboat proceeded to the drifting vessel that was located near Lime Kiln pier. Once on scene the lifeboat crew took the vessel on tow to a suitable mooring.

The vessel was checked for leaks before the crew headed back to the station arriving at 7.10pm. The lifeboat was declared ready for service once more at 7.40pm.

Remember: If you're in difficulty on or near the water—or if you see someone in trouble—dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.
