Killaloe Coast Guard unit responded to a call for assistance from a 29-foot cruiser experiencing engine difficulties near Gortmore Point, close to Terryglass Harbour on the northern end of Lough Derg.

First callout onboard all-weather lifeboat for volunteer crew member as Larne RNLI swiftly responded to a report of a yacht in difficulty.

Ballyglass RNLI's all-weather lifeboat was called into action following a request from Malin Head Coast Guard radio. The lifeboat was dispatched to assist a fishing boat with two people on board that was experiencing engine trouble in Broadhaven Bay.

Volunteers at the Aran Islands RNLI station were delighted to celebrate multiple pass outs this week and welcome a new Lifeboat Operations Manager to the station.

The volunteer crew of Clifden RNLI were requested by the Coast Guard to launch after a crew member had spotted the upturned hull of a boat in Clifden Bay.
