The volunteer crew at Kinsale RNLI were involved in a three-and-a-half-hour multi-agency search operation in what transpired to be a false alarm with good intent.

Belfast coastguard requested that Newcastle RNLI launch their Inshore Lifeboat to assist in a multi-agency search for a missing person who may have entered the water along Newcastle promenade.
