Killaloe Coast Guard unit were tasked at 3:20pm on Sunday afternoon (31 August) to a possible person in the water in the Ardnacrusha area.

Volunteer Bangor lifeboat helm James Gillespie was presented with an Excellence in Volunteering Award by Bangor Lifeboat Operations Manager Captain Byron Griffiths.
