Sligo Bay RNLI was requested to launch following a report of a potential water safety incident off Deadman’s Point.

Late on Sunday night, a coordinated multi-agency search operation was launched in the Killaloe/Ballina area after concerns were raised about a missing person who was believed to have possibly entered the water.

Newcastle and Kilkeel RNLI were tasked as part of a multi-agency response following the activation of an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon).

Crosshaven RNLI were tasked by the Irish Coast Guard to a report of a possible person sighted in the water near Fountainstown.

Clifden's volunteer crew launched their Atlantic 85 lifeboat on Tuesday night (9 September) after a member of the public reported seeing a reflective object drifting in the darkness in Clifden Bay.

Wicklow RNLI volunteers launched both the all-weather lifeboat and inshore lifeboat after being paged by the Coast Guard who had received reports of a possible person in the water.

Killaloe Coast Guard unit were tasked at 3:20pm on Sunday afternoon (31 August) to a possible person in the water in the Ardnacrusha area.
