The Aran Islands RNLI held their annual Christmas party recently and acknowledged its dedicated volunteers after a busy year of saving lives at Sea.

A new Shannon class lifeboat is coming to Larne RNLI. The lifeboat will replace the station’s all-weather Trent class lifeboat, Dr John McSparran, which has served the community off the Larne coast for the last quarter of a century.

Aran Islands RNLI in partnership with An Garda Síochána & Aran Fire and Rescue held the first ever Emergency Services Day on Inis Mór.

The Galway lifeboat station at the New Docks in Galway will hold an open day on Sunday 28 September from 11am to 4pm and everyone is welcome to visit the station, see the lifeboat and meet the crew.

Fenit RNLI will open its doors for its station open day on Sunday 7 September from 1-5pm. All are welcome to attend for a fun-filled day out for all the family.
