A razor boat with two fishermen got into difficulty two miles east of Balbriggan, reporting water ingress and a complete loss of power. The callout triggered a multi-agency response involving Clogherhead RNLI, Skerries RNLI and the Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 116.

Clogherhead RNLI came to the aid of a fatigued swimmer yesterday afternoon (Monday 28 July).

In the early hours of this morning (Bank Holiday Monday 2 June) at 1.28am, Clogherhead RNLI was requested by the Dublin Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre to assist two sailors on a yacht with two sailors onboard that had drifted onto rocks and a shingle beach near Gyles Quay, Dundalk.
