Sligo Bay RNLI were tasked by the Irish Coast Guard following a call from a member of the public who had noticed clothing left unattended for some time at the swimming pool area at Deadman's Point in Rosses Point.

Sligo Bay Lifeboat was called into action by the Coast Guard. The call came after a concerned member of the public reported a wing foiler who appeared to be in difficulty off the first beach in Rosses Point

Sligo Bay RNLI launched its inshore lifeboat in force 8 winds following reports that a boat was adrift in the channel off Rosses Point.

Sligo Bay RNLI was tasked by the Coast Guard following a call from a concerned member of the public. An experienced swimmer had got caught in strong currents off the swimming pool area and was been taken around Deadman's Point.

At 8:58pm on Saturday 6 September, the volunteer crew at Sligo Bay lifeboat station were tasked by the Coast Guard to go to the aid of a teenager surfer reported to be in difficulty off Strandhill
