Taking place at the Boyne Fishermans Rescue and Recovery boathouse on Marsh Road, the information night will give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the vital work carried out by the group. Visitors can expect a guided tour of the boathouse, an overview of the various volunteer roles within the team, and plenty of time to ask questions.

Team members Jay and Danielle will be on hand throughout the evening to meet attendees, share their experiences, and explain what’s involved in becoming part of the organisation. For those who feel inspired to take the next step, application forms will also be available on the night.

Importantly, the event is designed to be informal and pressure-free. Whether you’re seriously considering volunteering or simply want to learn more about what the team does, everyone is welcome to come along, have a chat, and get a real insight into the work of the rescue and recovery service.
