LNR crews quickly launched to the scene, navigating shallow waters to reach the casualty.

One lifeboat helped the casualty and safely returned the sailor to shore, while the other refloated the upturned vessel and towed it safely back to Kinnego Marina.

The volunteer crews returned to stations at at 5 pm, and the lifeboats were refuelled and prepared for their next service.

Remember: If you're in difficulty on or near the water—or if you see someone in trouble—dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.
