The call came at 6:22pm, tasking the lifeboat to assist a patient on the neighbouring island of Inis Oírr. Launching promptly from Cill Rónáin harbour on Inis Mór, the crew made their way across to the island.

Upon arrival, the lifeboat team liaised with the local doctor, who provided a handover before the patient was carefully transferred onboard. Once the transfer was complete, the lifeboat departed Inis Oírr and made for Ros a Mhíl.

There, the patient was safely handed over to an awaiting ambulance crew for further medical care. Following the successful evacuation, the lifeboat crew departed Ros a Mhíl and returned to Inis Mór, arriving at approximately 8:50pm.

After washing down and preparing the vessel, the crew stood ready once again for their next callout, continuing their vital role in providing emergency response services to the island communities.
