WEXFORD, Ireland - A husband-and-wife team from Wexford RNLI has been recognised for their remarkable combined 60 years of voluntary service to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

Brian and Eithne Coulter received long service awards at the RNLI Volunteer Recognition Event held at Clontarf Castle in Dublin on Sunday, 7 June, celebrating their decades of dedication to supporting the charity's lifesaving mission.
Brian was presented with a 20-year service medal, while Eithne received a 40-year service medal in recognition of her four decades of commitment to the organisation.
The couple have been longstanding members of Wexford RNLI's fundraising branch and have played a significant role in supporting the charity through fundraising initiatives and community engagement activities over many years.
Their efforts have helped generate vital funds that enable the RNLI to maintain its lifesaving service, ensuring volunteer crews have access to the training, equipment and support needed to save lives at sea.
The recognition event brought together volunteers from across Ireland to celebrate the dedication and commitment of those who give their time to support the RNLI's mission of preventing loss of life on the water.
Paying tribute to the couple's contribution, Wexford RNLI congratulated Brian and Eithne on their awards and expressed gratitude for their many years of valued service.
Their combined six decades of volunteering represent an outstanding commitment to both the RNLI and the local community, helping to ensure the charity can continue delivering its lifesaving work around Ireland's coast.
