A woman is expected to make a full recovery after a swift multi-agency rescue off Ballybunion on Wednesday morning, where local kayakers and volunteer rescuers combined to save her life following a fall from the cliffs at Nine Daughters Hole.

A multi-agency search operation was conducted overnight and into this morning following reports of a missing man in the Ferrybridge area of Ballyduff, Co. Kerry.

Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue responded to an emergency callout on Wednesday afternoon after reports that several people had become stranded on rocks by a rising tide off the Kerry coastline.
