A coordinated response by the Inchydoney Inshore Lifeboat Association and Cork County Council Beachguards safely returned an experienced kite surfer to Inchydoney Beach after changing sea conditions forced him ashore away from his launch point. The operation reunited him with his concerned family and highlighted the close partnership between lifeguards and the volunteer lifeboat crew.

The Inchydoney Community Lifeboat, Réalt na hInse, will return to operational service over the upcoming June Bank Holiday weekend, providing additional water safety support at Inchydoney Beach alongside Cork County Council Beachguards.
