Volunteers from Howth RNLI joined with Vini Cardoso, a local resident, artist, and long‑distance runner, on his first steps, as he embarked on a remarkable self‑supported run around the entire circumference of Ireland to fundraise for RNLI lifeboat crews nationwide

On Sunday last (20 July) Wicklow RNLI volunteers opened its station doors and lifeboats to the public. Considering the heavy rain early in the morning, it turned into a successful day which was enjoyed by all.

Arklow RNLI will open its doors for it's annual station open day on Sunday 3 August from 12:30-5:30pm. All are welcome to attend for a fun-filled day out for all the family.

Arklow RNLI hosted a special ceremony on Saturday (21 June) for the naming of the new €3.1M All-Weather Shannon Class Lifeboat.

Bangor RNLI welcomed a visit from Rev. Elliot Swattridge and some of the children. Following a tour of the station the children then presented the Bangor crew with a cheque for £300.
