Busy fortnight for Bantry Lifeboat volunteers, who responded to three separate callouts involving vessels in difficulty off Lousy Island, Bantry Inner Harbour and Glengarriff Inner Harbour.

Bantry Inshore Search and Rescue Association CRBI unit was called out by Valentia Coast Guard to assist a swimmer in distress on a rock at Shanvallybeg Beach (known locally as “Bolt’s Beach”).
