Killaloe Coast Guard Unit members had a busy evening yesterday (Monday 11 August) with a training exercise and then a callout to a swimmer showing signs of hypothermia.

Volunteer crews from Lough Neagh Rescue (LNR) were tasked over the weekend to assist a catamaran that had capsized in challenging conditions and was partially submerged after taking on water in Kinnego Bay.

Carrybridge RNLI assist 5 people in separate rescues over a 24 hour period

The volunteer crew at Lough Swilly RNLI were tasked by Malin Head Coast Guard to assist a small vessel with 6 people onboard that have developed mechanical problems not far from Fahan Marina.

Courtmacsherry RNLI's all-weather lifeboat was called out at 3.40am this morning, Friday (1 August) to go to the immediate aid of two sailors on a 40ft yacht that got into difficulties and was taking on water 21 miles south of the Old Head of Kinsale in West Cork.

Kinsale RNLI came to the aid of nine people yesterday afternoon (31 July) in back to back lunchtime call outs.
